In this episode, the family of Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer sent a special message for the team before the final. Punjab Kings shared the video on social media, in which Iyer’s mother and sister sent a heartfelt greetings full of Punjabi pride and positivity. The video began with an enthusiastic Punjabi phrase “Chaddi Kala”, which means maintaining high morale, after which Shreyas’s sister said, “Thank you all Punjab fans for supporting us from day one. We are very grateful. We are very grateful. Best wishes to the team for tomorrow.”
Shreyas’s mother said at the end of the video, “And we are incredibly proud of each of you. Tomorrow is our day. Just go there and pick up the cup and we are very excited for tomorrow. Just win.”
