Talking about the match, India scored a strong score of 359/3 on the first day. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant played magnificent innings. Jaiswal and Rahul together did an opening partnership of 91 runs, while Pant scored a century. But the Indian innings suddenly shattered after lunch on the second day. The last 7 wickets fell within just 41 runs and the entire team was all out at 471. Stokes and Josh Tung together took 8 wickets and got England a return to the match.
