Watch: Suyash Sharma played in pain for two years, RCB sent London to Surgery, three hernia came out
RCB’s young leg -spinner Suyash Sharma (SUYASH SHARMA) has revealed that he played cricket in pain with the help of injections for the last two years. When the problem increased, the franchise sent him to London for treatment, where three hernia were found in the investigation. After the surgery, Suyash is now fully fit and playing for the team.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) spinner Suyash Sharma has made a big disclosure about his fitness. He told that he had been playing in pain continuously for the last two years and managing the pain through injections. When domestic doctors also could not identify the disease, RCB sent him to London for treatment.
During the conversation in RCB’s show ‘Bold Diaries’, Suyash said, “I had been playing with injections for two years, but we could not understand what the problem is. When the pain increased, RCB sent me to London. There was a investigation that I have three Hernia.”
Suyash also told that he was treated in London by James Pipey, who not only professionally, but also like a family. He said, “James and his family took care of me a lot, I am very grateful to him.”

RCB bought Suyash for Rs 2.60 crore for this season. After surgery, he was advised to sit out of the early matches, but he fit to play from the second match. Suyash has taken 4 wickets in 9 matches so far, but his economy rate has been 7.97. His best performance was against Punjab Kings on 20 April, where he took 2 wickets for 26 runs.
RCB’s team is currently topped in the points table and their next match is against Chennai Super Kings on 3 May.
