WBCHSE HS 12th Result: 12th exam results declared in Bengal, know how many percent students passed

West Bengal News: The results of the 12th class board examination in West Bengal were released on Wednesday, in which a total of 4,30,286 students passed this year. According to Chiranjeev Bhattacharya, President of West Bengal Higher Secondary Education Council, the 12th grade board examination was held from March 3 to 18, with a percentage of 4,82,948 candidates to 90.79. He said that 92.3 percent of these boys and 88.1 percent girls passed the examination.

Bhattacharya said that the highest number of 95.74 percent students passed in East Medinipur district. This was followed by North 24 Parganas and Kolkata. He said that out of the students who passed the board examination, 45.38 percent scored more than 60 percent, while 16.99 percent scored 75 percent or more. The official said that in total 72 candidates made it to the top 10 in the board examination.

Roopayan Pal of Eastern Bardhaman’s CMS High School secured 497 points (99.4 percent) and secured the top position. After him, Tushar Debnath of Bakshirhat High School in Cooch Behar scored 496 points, Rajarshi Officer of Arambag High School in Hooghly scored 495 points and Sreejita Ghoshal of Sonamukhi Girls High School in Bankura scored 494 marks.

Bhattacharya said that 143 physically and mentally disabled students had also appeared, of which 51.75 percent were successful. He said that this was the final examination under the annual system that has been going on since 1978. Bhattacharya said, High School examinations will be held in February and September from the year 2026. He informed that the fourth session examinations will start from February. (Language)
