WCL 2025: If India-Pakistan has come face to face, what will happen if the semi-finals and finals come in the finals?
The match between India and Pakistan in the World Championship of Legends (WCL) has been canceled amid widespread resentment. Many Indian players like spinner Harbhajan Singh, opener Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina and all -rounder Yusuf Pathan withdrew their names from the match after which the organizers finally had to cancel the match.
The BCCI has not yet shown the green signal for the Asia Cup. Therefore, when the WCL match between India and Pakistan was announced, the domestic fans strongly opposed it. After the cancellation of the match, both teams distributed one point each and also raised a serious question that what would happen if India and Pakistan reached the finals?
India and Pakistan are two top teams in the league and both teams are more likely to reach the semi -finals. Both teams may once again be face to face in the semi-finals or finals. This raises a serious question in front of us that what will the organizers do if both teams come face to face in a big knockout?
No clear statement has been made by the organizers yet, but the previous incidents are enough to state that there is little possibility of matching between India and Pakistan in any phase of the tournament. If both teams reach the finals, it will probably be postponed or canceled and both teams will be declared joint champions. Not only this, if these two teams clash in the semi -finals, then the situation can be even more complicated. If the match is canceled, then the team living above the table is likely to reach the final, but this will be a lot of injustice to the other team.
