WCR GM interacted with track maintainers of engineering department, conducted safety inspection

Jabalpur. West Central Railway General Manager, Mrs. Shobhana Bandopadhyay along with Divisional Railway Manager Manish Tiwari conducted safety inspection in Kota Division on Friday, 18 October 2024. In which he inspected the safety procedures, panels, passenger facilities and railway tracks at the station. GM also communicated with the track maintainer employees. During the inspection, DRM Manish Tiwari, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Senior Divisional Engineer (Coordination), Senior Divisional Operations Manager, Senior Divisional Safety Officer and other officers and supervisory staff were present.

During the safety inspection, GM checked the functioning of safety related equipment at Ravantha Road station yard. This includes demonstration of fire extinguishers, point crossing on the track in the yard, data logger, demonstration of the functioning of ultrasonic detection machine on the railway track, inspection of stabling and shunting and inspection of cable modification. Apart from this, the General Manager also inspected the station master panel related to train operation. During inspection, instructions were given to strictly follow safety instructions, check related circulars and all safety aspects during train operation. Along with inspecting the passenger facilities at the station, the GM along with the DRM also conducted a thorough inspection of the track with the rail trolley at Ravantha Road Yard. Apart from this, he interacted with the track maintainer employees of the engineering department and gave necessary suggestions regarding solving their problems.
