‘We can also score 300 runs in IPL’ Rinku Singh shouted before the match against Punjab
In the 44th match of IPL 2025, Kolkata Knight Riders are scheduled to face Punjab Kings and before this big match, KKR batsman Rinku Singh has made a statement due to which he has made headlines. Rinku has said that the IPL has become so mature that any team can score 300 runs in the current tournament.
Rinku also supported the Kolkata Knight Riders team’s possibility of crossing the 300 -run mark. Rinku said during a conversation on Jio Hotstar’s ‘General Bold’, “Yes, we can do this. The IPL has reached the point where 300 runs are also possible. Last year, Punjab chased a total of 262 runs. All the teams are strong in this season. Any can reach 300 runs.”
Speaking further, Rinku said, “I usually bat at number 5 or 6. I have done this in UP and IPL, so I have a habit of it. I pay a lot of attention to fitness because with 14 matches in the IPL, it is my responsibility to maintain my body and get well well. I also talk to Mahi (MS Dhoni) brother. If you remain restrained, things become correct. “
Rinku also told how he is learning from senior players like Andre Russell and developing into a batsman. He said, “Ever since I started playing in IPL, I have been learning. I see Russell closely, especially how he bats in the last over and how he uses his body to create strength. I keep watching him and learn things from him.”
