Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has welcomed the decision of the central government’s caste census and said that we support this decision but the government should tell its timeline. Rahul Gandhi also said that we will make its design. Addressing the press conference at the party headquarters, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said that “We had said in Parliament that we will get caste census. We also said that we would break the 50 percent limit that was an artificial wall. I do not know what happened after 11 years when the cabinet announced caste census, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that there are only four castes.”

The Telangana caste has become a model for census, which can be a blueprint. We propose to the government to prepare the outline of caste census. One is the outline of Bihar and the other is a great difference between Telangana, and both. We want to bring a new paradigm of development through caste census. We are asking the center this question about the participation of OBCs, Dalits, tribals in institutions, power structures etc.
Pahalgam attack terrorists get punished
