Ingredients to make Matar Makhani
1 cup peas (frozen or soaked dry peas), 2 large tomatoes, chopped, 2 onions, chopped, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, 2 green chillies, chopped, 1/2 cup butter (ghee), 1 /2 cup curd, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 cup cream, salt as per taste, 2 tsp chopped coriander

First of all, wash the peas in water and soak them for 4-5 hours or use frozen peas and heat butter in a pan. Then add onion and ginger-garlic paste and fry them until they become golden in color and now add chopped tomatoes and fry them until the tomatoes get cooked and become mashed and then add green chillies, red chilli powder. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt and mix. Now add peas and mix well, after which add curd and cream and mix well. And then add water to it and let it cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes and now hot Matar Makhani is ready. Before serving, garnish with chopped coriander and let us tell you that serve Matar Makhani with rice or naan and enjoy the taste. Your Matar Makhani is ready.
