New Delhi: In many states of the country including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan, heavy rains during the last 24 hours have greatly affected life. According to the Meteorological Department, torrential rains may continue in these states on Wednesday. Due to heavy rains, there are flood -like conditions at many places in UP, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Even today, the process of rain can continue here.

Where will it rain on August 27

The Meteorological Department said that Rajasthan is expected to receive very heavy rainfall on August 27. There may be strong rains at some places in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Vidarbha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. Heavy rains can be recorded in Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Central Maharashtra during the next 6-7 days. Marathwada is expected to receive heavy rainfall at some places in Marathwada on August 28, while on 27th and 28th of August, Ghat areas of Central Maharashtra may receive heavy rainfall.

Tamil Nadu may receive very heavy rainfall on August 27 and 28. Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh may receive rain during the next 24 hours. Bihar and Jharkhand may receive rain during the next 7 days.

How will the weather be in hilly states today

There is a possibility of light to moderate rains in Jammu and Kashmir-Laddh-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh during the next 7 days. Thunderstorms and lightning are likely to be furious at some places during the next 24 hours. Also, torrential rain may occur. There may also be incidents of landslide in some places.

The weather conditions of the northeastern states

Heavy rains are likely to continue at some places in Assam and Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh during August 27-31. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura will receive heavy rains during the next 7 days.

Rain in Delhi-NCR from Wednesday morning

The entire NCR including Delhi, Noida received light to moderate rainfall since Wednesday morning. Rainfall is still going on in many places. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur by tonight. The sky will be cloudy. There is a possibility of strong rain winds in the day. The maximum temperature is estimated to be around 31 ° C.

First snowfall of weather, heavy rain warning in Ladakh

Union Territory of Ladakh’s height areas received the first snowfall of the weather, while its low -lying areas received moderate rains. Officials said that Khardung La Pass, located at an altitude of 18,379 feet, had received snowfall. According to officials, in the last 24 hours, most of the hill passes have received light to moderate snowfall. These include Khardung La Top, 17,950 feet high Changla Top and Janskar Valley areas located on Leh-Pangong Lake. Meteorologists have released ‘Red Alert’ for Ladakh.
