The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains in the states of Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar and Odisha for the next few days. IMD has issued an orange alert for rain along with lightning in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Bihar and Odisha.

Alert of heavy rain in these states

According to the Meteorological Department, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Punjab, South-East of Delhi, Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh and Eastern Odisha will be thick cloudy. It is also expected to rain during this period. Alert for heavy rain has been issued for the next 4 days in Delhi, Chandigarh and Haryana.

Red alert for Himachal and Punjab

IMD has issued warnings of heavy rains with electricity and thunderstorms in Chamba, Mandi and Kangra districts of Himachal Pradesh and Ludhiana, Sangrur, Barnala and Mansa in Himachal Pradesh for Tuesday.

These parts of Maharashtra will rain

On Monday, many parts of Mumbai also received rain, causing waterlogging on the Gandhi Market area of ​​Sion and the Eastern Express highway. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains at some places in Mumbai on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Thane is expected to receive heavy rains at some places for three days. In Pune too, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain for the next three days.

Rainfall for four days in Delhi-NCR

Some parts of the national capital Delhi received rain on Monday afternoon, which brought a lot of relief from the humid situation. According to IMD, in the last 24 hours in Delhi, 13 mm of rain was recorded in the last 24 hours. IMD has predicted thunderstorms in Delhi-NCR for the next four days.

These districts of Rajasthan will rain heavily

In many parts of Rajasthan, heavy rains are expected to continue on Tuesday and Wednesday. Orange alert of heavy rains has been issued in Rajsamand, Sirohi and Udaipur districts, while Yellow alert has been issued in about a dozen districts. The Meteorological Department said that heavy rains are likely to continue for the next two to three days.
