West Indies’ second-tier team defeated Pakistan, won the 3-match ODI series 2-1.

West Indies A team is on the tour of Pakistan (PAKA-W vs WIA-W), which started with ODI matches. 3 matches were played between the two teams between 24 and 29 October in which West Indies won the last two matches and won the series 2-1. All the matches of this series were organized at Lahore Country Club.

In the first ODI played on 24 October, Pakistan defeated West Indies by 8 runs. Playing first, Pakistan scored 174 runs losing all its wickets in 49.3 overs, in reply West Indies got bundled out after scoring only 166 runs in 45.2 overs. Pakistan’s Gul Firozha was named player of the match for her innings of 62 runs in 101 balls.

In the second ODI on 26 October, West Indies registered a close victory by 3 wickets in the last over. In this match, Pakistan, batting first, scored 188/9 in 50 overs thanks to the half-century of Sidra Nawaz, in response to which the West Indies team won the match by scoring 189/7 in 49.5 overs. Caribbean captain Rashada Williams was named player of the match for her 71 runs in 94 balls and two catches.

The third and decisive match was played on 29 October in which West Indies once again won by 3 wickets and captured the series 2–1. Playing first, Pakistan team was limited to 162 runs in 44.4 overs. Jahzara Claxton took the maximum four wickets for West Indies. West Indies achieved the target of 163 by scoring 164 runs losing seven wickets in 44.4 overs. Jenaba Joseph played an unbeaten inning of 51 runs. Jahzara Claxton was named player of the match for her bowling performance of 4/19.

The T20 triangular series will start from November 3, in which the teams of Pakistan A, West Indies A and Thailand will be included. All the teams will play two matches each and after this the final will be held in Lahore on 8th November.
