Jagdeep Dhankhar has resigned from the post of Vice President. Dhankhar has submitted his resignation from the post of Vice President to President Draupadi Murmu due to his health reasons. Opposition leaders have raised many questions on Dhankhar’s resignation. He has also expressed his health related pyre. Many leaders including Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal, Congress MP Imran Masood have made a statement on the resignation of Dhankhar.

On the resignation of Jagdeep Dhankhar, Congress MP Imran Masood said, ‘He was in Parliament House throughout the day. What happened in just one hour that he had to resign? We pray to God to give them a long and healthy life. I do not understand the reason for this.

A few days later resignation could be given- Shiv Sena (UBT) MP

On the resignation of India’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Anand Dubey said, ‘The news of the Vice President’s resignation is worrying. We wish him efficiency. However, a question arises today was the first day of the monsoon session. Their resignation on the same day surprises people. What is going on in this government? This decision was taken without any proper consultation or discussion. If health was a matter of concern, then the resignation could be given a few days before or after the session.

Sibal said, ‘I wish him good health, because I am sad, because I have very good relationships with him. I have known them for 30-40 years. We were with each other. We have stood against each other in many cases. We have a unique relationship.

Along with this, he said, ‘I have always respected him. He has also respected me. He has attended some of our family celebrations. I am sad and I hope he be healthy and longevity. I wish him good health. ‘

They never refused me- Sibal

Sibal further said, ‘Even though there were differences between us about our political views, we had a very strong relationship on the personal level. Whenever I needed time to speak in the House, I used to meet him personally in his room. He never refused me, but gave me a little more time than the time he got independent MPs.
