Guwahati: Assam CM Himant Vishwa Sharma has retaliated on the claim of Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha. He said that is it guarantee that Rahul Gandhi will not go to jail before me? Rahul Gandhi had claimed that the public would imprison Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sharma in jail for corruption. Himanta Vishwa Sharma said on the biggest family that before this, Congress leaders will not be behind bars. Sharma said that a national leader does not suit making such comments. Gandhi had claimed during a meeting of party workers in Chaigaon near Guwahati on Wednesday that the Chief Minister and his family would be held accountable for their corruption and the people of the state would put Sharma in jail.
It does not suit a national leader
Reversing the Congress leader, Sharma said, “What is the guarantee that Rahul Gandhi will not go to jail before me?” The BJP leader said, “Coming to a state, he does not suit a national leader who will send him to jail. This proves how important I am. ”Regarding the tea meeting, Sharma claimed that Gandhi had said in a closed -room meeting with the top party leaders of the state that the Chief Minister would be sent to jail.
Rahul forgot that he himself is out on bail
The Chief Minister posted on ‘X’ on Wednesday, “Take it by writing, Himant Vishwa Sharma will definitely be sent to jail” – Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi said the same words during the meeting of the Congress political affairs committee in Assam in a closed room. “Sharma posted this a few hours before Gandhi’s comment became public. Sharma also said that Congress leaders “forgot conveniently” that he himself is on bail in several criminal cases registered across the country.
Nothing will change by giving speech
In the same meeting, on the claim of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge that the state government has not given any job, the Chief Minister said today, “I have given a job or not, the people of Assam know this.” He said, “We are working for the people of Assam and the public knows it. Nothing will change by giving a speech. ”The BJP promised one lakh government jobs before the 2021 assembly elections.
