What did Afghan girl Nahide say?

Nahide said, “I like to go to school, but I will not be able to go, so I will go to the madrasa.” Nahide said, “If I went to school, I would have become a doctor. But, I cannot be made. ”In the deep brown eyes of Nahide, the desire to fulfill the dream was clearly visible. Thirteen -year -old Nahide is in the last grade of primary school. There is a ban on girls going to school after sixth grade in Afghanistan. Apart from this, there are restrictions for their dress and moving somewhere.

Girls are turning to madrasas

Due to no option to get higher education, many girls are turning to madrasas. Zahid-ur-Rehman Sahibi, director of ‘Tasnim Nasrat Islamic Sciences Educational Center’ located in Kabul, said, “Since school is closed for girls, she sees it as an opportunity.” She said, “So, she comes here to get to study and study theology here.” There are about 400 students in this center.
