The players of the Indian cricket team keep playing cricket at some level of the year and in such a situation, it is also a difficult task to keep the players fit, but in this episode, the BCCI is going to take a new step and a new fitness test for the players is also being included in the routine.

To maintain the fitness of Indian cricketers at a high level and improve their aerobic capacity, the rugby-centered bronco test has been started, including several shuttle races of 20 meters, 40 meters and 60 meters. According to media reports, these suggestions have come from the Indian team’s strength and conditioning coach Adrian Le Rocks, who want fast bowlers to run as much as possible rather than focusing on the gym.

Head coach Gautam Gambhir also agrees with Rocks’ opinion. The suggestion came after a five -Test series in England, in which the fitness level of some fast bowlers was not found well, while only fast bowler Mohammad Siraj played in every match. It has also been learned that some top players have already given Bronco Tests at the Center of Excellence in Bangalore, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
