WhatsApp video calling will be done without a network, surprised everyone with Google

Google has recently launched its Pixel 10 series in the global market including India. Google has given a work feature in this phone. Users will be able to call audio-video calling through WhatsApp even without network. This new series of Google will be available for sale from August 28. The company has claimed that this is the first smartphone series to come with WhatsApp calling feature without network.

Audio-video call without network

Google told in its X post that in the recently launched Pixel 10 series, users will soon get a voice and video calling feature through WhatsApp. Users will be able to take advantage of this feature on WhatsApp with satellite connectivity. This feature will prove to be a boon for users during emergency. Even if there is no network or Wi-Fi connectivity in the phone, they will still be able to make WhatsApp audio and video calling via satellite.

The company told in its X post that from August 28, users will start getting this feature in the Pixel 10 series. Google has shown a teaser in its post, in which it can be seen that audio-video calling can be done with satellite connectivity. However, this feature can be taken only on the network of telecom operators with satellite connectivity. Users in India may have to wait for this feature. Satellite service has not started in India at present. However, BSNL has teased on social media platforms regarding satellite service.

World’s first phone

Google has claimed that the pixel 10 series will be the world’s first phone, in which the facility of WhatsApp audio and video calling can be taken through satellite. However, the company did not say how this technology would work? Currently, through satellite service, users can take facilities like audio calling and SMS in no network area. Compatible smartphones with satellite connectivity provide this kind of facility to users. However, this service is also available in countries where satellite service has started.
