Elephants roamed the city overnight
A view was found in Angul district of Odisha late on Tuesday night, which gave sleep to the people of the entire area. A large flock of 13 elephants came out of the nearby forest and entered the Hulursingha area directly. Suddenly at night, people were shocked to see such big elephants among them.
Around 10 o’clock in the night, this herd of elephants slowly moved out of the forest and moved towards the residential areas. At first, some people saw the herd coming from a distance with the help of a flashlight, but as soon as the elephants started roaming in the streets and streets, there was chaos in the area.
People came in awe
People came out of their homes and started looking at this view on the streets, but the fear was clearly visible on the face of most people. Fearing there is no loss, many families closed their doors and windows. For about four hours, the herd wandered in different parts of the city. During this time, people kept waking up and praying that the elephants should not hurt anyone and do not harm homes or fields.
However, even after this overnight movement, no casualties or major losses were reported. These elephants may have come out of the forest in search of food. This whole incident of the night has once again raised the question that how to reduce the increasing conflict between humans and wildlife, so that neither the lives of people are threatened nor damaged these animals.
