• Date: 24 July 2025, Thursday
• Shravan Shukla Dwitiya Tithi Starts: On July 24, 2025 at 02:28 am
• Dual date ends: 25 July 2025 at 12:40 am
According to Udaya Tithi, Sindhara Dooj will be celebrated only on 24 July 2025.
The auspicious time of the day of worship:
On this day many auspicious yoga are being made, in which you can worship:
• Brahma Muhurta: 04:15 am to 04:57 am
• Abhijit Muhurta: 12:00 pm to 12:55 pm
• Amrit period: 02:26 pm to 03:58 pm
• Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga: It will remain all day.

Worship method:
– On the day of Sindhara Dooj, get up early in the morning and take a bath and wear clean clothes. Suhagan women wear traditional dress on this day, apply mehndi in their hands and make sixteen adornments.
Before starting the puja, take a pledge to fast for the long life of your husband and the happiness and prosperity of the family.
– By laying a red or yellow cloth at a checkpoint, worship Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva by installing a statue or picture of Lord Shiva.
– Light a lamp of ghee.
– Offer suhaag items like vermilion, bangles, bindi, mehndi, chunri to Mata Parvati.
– Offer flowers, fruits, sweets especially kheer or sweet dish.
– Perform aarti by lighting incense, lamp.
– Some women also worship Maa Brahmacharini on this day.
On this day, Sindhara i.e. gifts, clothes, sweets, bangles and suhaag items come from the maiden to the daughter. Married women also exchange gifts among themselves.
– It is also a custom to swing and swing on the day of Sindhara Dooj. Women sing folk songs and celebrate the swinging.
After worshiping Gauri Mata in the evening, women observing the fast offer their mother -in -law ‘Baya’ i.e. gifts and seek her blessings.
On this day, eating small brinjal and jackfruit is considered prohibited. Women receive satvic food.
