The Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of Ashadh month is called Krishnapingla Sankashti Chaturthi. Let’s know here the auspicious time of worship:
• Quicky Tithi starts: 14 June 2025, on Saturday from 03:46 pm.
• Chaturthi Tithi ended: 15 June 2025, Sunday at 03:51 pm.
• Moonrise time: 14 June 2025, on Saturday at around 10:07 pm.
According to Udaya Tithi and Chandrodaya, the fast of Krishnapingla Sankashti Chaturthi will be observed on 14 June 2025.
Importance of Krishnapingla Sankashti Chaturthi: This fast is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, who is known as Vighnaharta. This fast is important for many reasons:
• Freedom from crises: It is believed that by observing fast on this day and worshiping Lord Ganesha with law and order, all obstacles, sufferings and troubles in life are removed.

How to do this fast and worship method:
The fast and worship method of Krishnapingla Sankashti Chaturthi is as follows:
1. Resolve to fast:
– Wake up early in the morning and take a bath and wear clean clothes.
– Clean the place of worship by spraying Ganga water.

2. Establish and worship Ganesha in the day:
– Put a red cloth on a post and install the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha.
– Light a lamp of ghee and incense.
– Ganesha to Ganesh ji, offer red roli, kalava, vermilion, akshat/ whole rice, sandalwood, flower (red jaggery flower is particularly dear), offer 21 lumps pair of Durva, Shami leaves.
– Offer them sesame, jaggery, modak or laddus.
– Chanting Mantra: ‘Om Gan Ganpataye Namah’ or ‘Vakratund Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha. Dev Sarvakaryeshu Sarvada॥ ‘ Chant the mantra at least 108 times.

3. Worship of Moon at night:
– Worshiping the moon at night is the most important part of this fast, because the fast is observed only after moonrise.
– Before Chandrodaya at night, once again worship Ganesha.
– On the moon, offer arghya to the moon. For this, offer pure water, raw milk, intact, white flowers and sandalwood in copper or any other metal urn and offer it to the moon.
– While giving Arghya to the moon, chant the mantra ‘Om Somay Namah’ or ‘Om Chandraya Namah’.
– Show the incense and lamp to the moon and offer it.
4. Fasting Paran:
– The fast is passed only after giving the moon and offering Arghya.
– You can do fruit or take satvic food. Do not eat grains on this day.
– Divide the offerings among all.
