Ashish Vidyarthi recalled the story related to Shammi Kapoor and said, ‘Shammi Kapoor ji had told me one thing many years ago. This is when I was shooting for a serial ‘Dastan’ in Sharjah. Meanwhile, Shammi Kapoor ji came there, he came with a producer to shoot ‘Chattan’. One day, suddenly he gave me an advice. He said to me, ‘Remembering son after another, the people of this industry will remove your air. When my stardom started decreasing, people started saying to me- ‘What happened Shammi ji, where is the crowd nowadays?’ I replied, ‘Son, nowadays the crowd is outside the blessing (Rajesh Khanna’s bungalow).’
