40 -year -old Russian woman Nina Kutiina alias Mohi and her two young children were rescued from a inaccessible cave in Ramatirtha hills at Kumta Taluk in North Kannada district of Karnataka. The family had been living completely in solitude for almost two weeks. Officials confirmed on Saturday that the local police carried out the rescue operation during a regular patrol on Friday.

The family was living in this cave surrounded by dense forests and steep slopes for the last about two weeks, where Mohi was absorbed in worship and meditation in search of spiritual peace. After the recent landslides, during regular patrolling, the police team saw the clothes drying up near the cave, after which the family was detected.

Visa period ended in 2017

Mohi came on a business visa in India, which ended in 2017. It is not clear when she has been living in India since she has been living in India, but officials believe that she must have reached this cave from Goa. Impressed by Hinduism and Indian spiritual traditions, he decided to commit seclusion in the wild mountains of Gokarna with his two children, Preya (6) and Ama (4).
