All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi questioned the central government about caste census. He asked when the caste census will be conducted in the country and by when its process will be completed? Owaisi also demanded separate calculations of Pasmanda and non-Pasamanda Muslims. He said that we have been raising demand for caste census across the country. The last time the caste census took place in 1931, in such a situation, if there is a caste survey, then it will be known who is getting how much benefit and who is not, so it is necessary.
‘BJP-NDA tell the deadline’
On the caste census, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, “My party had demanded from 2021 that caste survey should be done across the country. The last caste survey was done in 1931, if the caste survey took place, then it will be known who is getting the benefit and who is not, whose income is and which cast is what is there and which cast has moved more, so we want to say that we will tell you only one time, When will it start, when will it end and when will it be done before the 2029 parliamentary elections? “
The ground reality of Pasmanda Muslims will be revealed
On the other hand, about the caste survey of Pasmanda Muslims, Owaisi further said, “The ground reality of the situation of Pasmanda Muslims will be known, they will know how bad the situation of non-caste Muslims is, it is necessary. So that it is necessary to ensure that the benefits are marginalized. When America spoke about positive action, America, Jews and Chinese became beneficial. It is necessary for India to have such a census. In another statement, he said that due to lack of caste data, fair policy decisions are not being made, due to which the country has to depend on the caste census of 1931.
