He informed that preparations are being made according to the same pilgrimage centers at Mathura, Vrindavan, Barsana, Gokul, Nandgaon, Govardhan, Mahavan etc. and the safety and safety of devotees are also being made on a large scale.
150 CCTV cameras have been arranged for surveillance in the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi temple complex and more than a hundred cameras will be used in the surveillance work in the outside area. This time drone cameras with artificial intelligence (AI) technology will also be used under the supervision of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi area.
Policemen will be deployed for security in the city including all major temples, sensitive places, etc. including Shri Krishna’s birthplace.
Cleanliness in the city, repair of damaged roads, beautification of routes, decoration of intersections etc. are being done on a war footing.
Shyam Bahadur Singh, the ex-officio Chief Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh Braj Tirtha Vikas Parishad and Vice President of Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority, said that this year Shri Krishnotsav festival will be celebrated for three days (from August 15 to 17), which will begin with a procession from the main gate of Shri Krishna’s birthplace at 10 am on August 15. This yatra will traditionally be completed at the main gate of Shri Krishna’s birthplace via Potra Kund, Govind Nagar, Deeg Gate.
He informed that the procession will also include nationalism on Independence Day along with religion and spirituality. Around 250 folk artists from Bundelkhand, Rajasthan and Haryana will showcase their art in the procession. These artists will come out performing rye dance of Bundelkhand, raw mare dance of Rajasthan, Gujari dance of Haryana etc.
Braj’s Kalakar Bamb Nagade, Dhol, Bean, Shehnai, Damru-Majira will perform. Along with this, bhajan mandals of various temples including Maan Mandir Barsana, ISKAN Vrindavan will also spread devotional juices in the procession.
On this occasion Appeal has been made by the Bankebihari temple management, since there will be excessive pressure from the devotees who come to Vrindavan on the occasion of Janmashtami, so do not bring patients with sick persons, elderly, disabled women, pregnant women, blood pressure and sugar to avoid any untoward incident or adverse situation.
