Mahakaleshwar Sawari Ujjain 2025: This time on 11 July 2025, Shravan month is starting from Friday. The first Monday of Sawan month will be on July 14 and on this day Mahakal Baba’s first ride is going to come out. The royal ride of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain in Sawan will run from 14 July to 18 August.
Lord Sri Chandramoleshwar will be duly worshiped in the Sadhamandap of the temple before the ride of Mahakaleshwar Bhagwan. After this, Lord Shri Chandramoleshwar will be enthroned in the palanquin and go on a city tour.
The route of the royal ride of Mahakal:
The ride of Lord Mahakal will be first given ‘Guard of Honor’ at the door of the temple. After this the ride will begin. The ride will reach Ramghat via its traditional route i.e. Mahakal intersection, Gudri intersection, Bakshi Bazar and Kaharwadi. At Ramghat, Lord Mahakal will be bathed with the holy water of the Shipra River and worship will be done. Subsequently, the ride will return to Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple via Ramanujkot, Modh Ki Dharamshala, Kartik Chowk, Khati Temple, Satyanarayan Temple, Dhaba Road, Tanki Square, Chhatri Chowk, Gopal Temple, Patni Bazar and Gudri Bazar.
Arrangement for Kavad passengers: On giving pre -information to Kavad passengers, arrangements have been made to offer water to Baba Mahakal through water vessel in Vishramdham, Rempo, Sabha Mandapam, except on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. You can also offer water from Faculty Center 01, Tunnel route, temple complex, Karthik Mandapam and Ganesh Mandapam via door number 01. The system of Kavad passenger coming without any prior notice will be like a normal philosophy. The said Kavad passenger will offer water to the water vessel in Kartik Mandapam.
