Giving information, the Indian Embassy in Doha has said that Dr. Deepak Mittal will be the next ambassador of India in Qatar. The embassy posted a post on the social media platform X. In this post, he said, “He will take over his new job in a few weeks.” Please tell that Dr. Deepak Mittal is currently the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs of India (Mea). He is a 1998 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service. The Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday announced the appointment of Dr. Mittal as the new Ambassador to Qatar.

Outgoing ambassador gave information

Outgoing Indian Ambassador P. Kumaran said in a post on social media, “I am happy that the Ministry of External Affairs has announced that my dear friend and colleague Dr. Deepak Mittal will be my successor in Qatar as the next ambassador of India. I am eager to hand over the charge to him in a few weeks. I am confident that he will take on bilateral relations and heights in the coming years.” Please tell that Kumaran was appointed as an Indian Ambassador in place of Sanjeev Arora in 2016.

Who is Deepak Mittal?

For information, let us know that Deepak Mittal is a 1998 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer. Currently, Deepak Mittal is posted as OSD (Officer on Special Duty) in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). Deepak Mittal has also worked as an ambassador of India in Qatar for two years.
