Who is T Raja Singh?
T Raja Singh is known as Tiger Raja Singh. He was still a BJP MLA from Goshamahal assembly constituency in Telangana. He was born on 15 April 1977 in a Lodhi community’s family in Dhulpet village in Hyderabad. He is known for staunch Hindutva ideas and often makes headlines due to his controversial statements.
T Raja Singh started his political life in 2009 with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). During this time he was elected a member of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation but in 2014 he joined the BJP. He then won from Goshamahal assembly seat in 2014, 2018 and 2023.
In 2018, he was the only BJP MLA to win despite the wave of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS, now BRS).
BJP has suspended in 2018, was taken back again
In August 2022, the BJP suspended T Raja Singh due to a controversial remarks on Prophet Muhammad. During this time he was also arrested. But his suspension was canceled in October 2023 and was given a ticket from Goshamahal for 2023 Telangana assembly elections.
On 30 June 2025, there has been differences between T Raja Singh and BJP once again and they have resigned from T Raja from BJP.
