Golden conch and chakra donated to Tirumala temple
Tamil Nadu: Chennai -based Sudarshan Enterprises has donated a golden conch (Shankhu) and a golden cycle worth about 2.5 kg to Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Tirumala and a golden chakra worth Rs 2.4 crore. The representatives of the company handed over conch and chakra to Shri CH Venkaiah Chaudhary, Additional Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) at Ranganayakula Mandapam of Tirumala temple on Tuesday morning.
Please tell that Tirumala Temple is also known as Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple or Tirupati Balaji Temple. It is located in Tirumala hill city of Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh. This temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, who is considered an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Tirumala Temple is one of the wealthiest temples in the world, known for donations and offerings by devotees. The temple is located on Venkatadri, one of the seven hills of Tirumala, which represents the seven ends of the Ati. Millions of devotees come here every year to fulfill their wishes and seek blessings.

The origin of the temple is considered around 300 AD, which makes it one of the oldest temples in India. South Indian dynasties such as Pallava, Chola and Vijayanagar contributed significantly to the construction and expansion of the temple from time to time. Krishnadevaraya, the emperor of the Vijayanagara Empire, donated heavy diamonds and gold to the temple, which made the roof of Anand Nilayam (sanctum sanctorum) to sleep. In 1933, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Trust was established, which currently manages the temple. A large number of devotees visit the Tirumala temple daily.
