The Indian Army and security forces have carried out major action against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. The army on Monday killed three terrorists associated with the Pahalgam terror attack in the forests of the outskirts of Srinagar. Home Minister Amit Shah has also informed in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday that three terrorists were killed in the army’s ‘Operation Mahadev’ on Monday, these terrorists killed innocent civilians in Pahalgam.

How was the terrorists detected?

In fact, the Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police started the Operation Mahadev campaign after receiving a technical indication and killed Suleman, the mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack. This technical signal was indicating the use of a satellite phone, which was also used by the attackers of the Pahalgam attack. Two other terrorists were also killed in the army’s action. He has been identified as Jibran and Hamza Afghani. All of them were involved in the Pahalgam terror attack.

How was terrorists identified?

Home Minister Amit Shah said- “When the bodies of terrorists reached Srinagar, they were identified as three people who carried out terrorist attacks in Pahalgam. The FSL report of terrorist attack cartridges was already ready. Yesterday, the rifles of the three terrorists were confiscated and their FSL report was matched. Yesterday, there was further investigation in Chandigarh, after that the three were confirmed that these three were the same.”

Identified terrorists:

1. Suleman aka Faizal Jatt-Member of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET), directly involved in Pahalgam attack.

2. Afghan-Grade A category terrorist.

3. Gibran- Grade A terrorist, is believed to be a member of the core execution team.

All three were part of the Pahalgam terror attack and were found in the forests of Dachigam, where security forces killed them.

How dangerous was the mastermind Suleman?

According to reports, Suleman had taken training in Pakistan. He was a highly trend terrorist and got training to live in the forests and also in difficult conditions. After training, he joined Lashkar-e-Taiba and started committing a terrorist incident. Apart from Suleman Pahalgam, many other terrorist attacks were also involved. An M4 carbine rifle, two AK rifles and other weapons have been recovered from the encounter site where the security forces killed Suleman and two other terrorists.
