Whose importance is the most important in visiting general Shivling or Jyotirlinga in the month of Sawan?

General Shivling: According to the scriptures, the worship of Parthiv Shivalinga and Abhishek is very important in the month of Sawan. You can worship the earthly Shivling at home. However, if you want, you can go to any Shiva temple near your house and worship Shivalinga, Abhishek or visit. There is no difference in worship of both normal Shivling and Jyotirlinga.

Jyotirlingas: There are a total of 12 Jyotirlingas in India, and it is considered a special virtuous to visit them in the month of Sawan. These also have the importance of philosophy of Somnath Jyotirlinga, Rameshwaram, Mahakaleshwar and Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga. Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga has also been considered the most special among the above four.
