At the same time, now all political parties have started preparing for the Vice Presidential election to be held on 9 September. However, amidst all these political developments, Priyanka Gandhi met BJP National President and Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Thursday.

What did Priyanka Gandhi tell?

Giving information in the post on X, Priyanka Gandhi said that she met JP Nadda and requested her to speed up some health projects in Wayanad. Priyanka Gandhi also apprised JP Nadda about the serious problems being faced by the local people due to lack of medical college in Manantwadi, which has not been started yet.

Priyanka Gandhi said that she also talked about the need for better healthcare for the tribal population of Wayanad, her specific health problems, pending NHM funds and a special trauma center in cases of animal attacks in the field.

Priyanka Gandhi has said that she has also reiterated an AIIMS demand for Kerala during a meeting with JP Nadda. Priyanka Gandhi said that JP Nadda heard all her demands and discussed with her openly. Priyanka said that she has full hope that these issues will be given proper attention.
