Why did India choose only 33 countries to send delegation? Know the full inside story
A delegation will also go under the leadership of BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad.
New Delhi: India decided to send 7 all -party delegations to 33 countries after Operation Sindoor to effectively submit its policy against Pakistan sponsored terrorism on the global platform. These countries have been selected carefully for strategic and diplomatic reasons. India’s effort is to see the disgusting face of the whole world Pakistan which it hides several times in the mask of begging. Come, let us tell you why India chose these 33 countries, especially these 33 countries to send their delegations.
India’s delegation is going to go to these countries
These 7 delegations of India are going to go to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Algeria, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, European Union, America, Panama, Gayana, Brazil, Columbia, Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia, Russia, Indonesia, Malasia, South Korea, Japan, Liberia, Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone, Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia and South Africa. If seen in this way, this delegation of India will leave Australia and go to some country in every continent where humans are inhabited.
UN Security Council (UNSC) member country
India preferred countries which are currently permanent or temporary members of the United Nations Security Council. These include the US, Britain, France, Russia (Permanent Member) and Algeria, Denmark, Greece, Guyana, Panama, South Korea, Sierra Leone, Slovenia (temporary members). These countries were selected because UNSC plays an important role on issues related to global security and terrorism. India aims to make these countries aware of their evidence and approach against Pakistan’s terrorist support, especially when Pakistan will be a temporary member of UNSC for the next 17 months and can present anti -India claims there.
Regional and global influential countries
India chose countries that have influence on regional and global forums, such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and South Africa. These countries play an important role in organizations such as Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), ASEAN, and African Union. For example, Malaysia will preside over ASEAN in 2025, and has a strong bilateral relationship with India. Similarly, India has had close economic and strategic relations in recent years with Saudi Arabia and UAE.
Traditional and strategic partner
Many elected countries are traditional and strategic partners of India, such as Japan (Quad members), Russia (historical friends), and Brazil (BRICS and G20 members). India has strong diplomatic and economic relations with these countries. For example, Indonesia President Prabovo Subyanto was the chief guest at India’s Republic Day celebrations in 2025, symbolizing the growing relations between the two countries.
India’s presence in African countries
India chose African countries such as Sierra Leone, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Ethiopia, where it has had a historical and diplomatic appearance. For example, 4,000 soldiers of India were part of the UNAMSIL mission in 2000–2001 in Sierra Leone, and in 2020 India opened its permanent mission there. Apart from this, Sierra Leone is also going to join UNSC as a temporary member this year. These countries also have India’s development partnership and support projects, which make them important for India.
European Union and Regional Organizations contact
The delegation will visit the European Union (EU) headquarters in Brussels to expose Pakistan’s disgusting face. In addition, these countries were also selected to strengthen India’s relations with organizations such as the African Union and ASEAN. Organizations such as EU and African Union can play an important role in creating global consent against terrorism. India chose countries where Pakistan could have influence, such as the Gulf country (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait) and Malaysia. In these countries, India can explain its position and open the pole of Pakistan.
Strengthen the global stage
India’s goal is not only to expose Pakistan, but also to create a global consent against terrorism and strengthen its diplomatic status. Most of these 33 countries are present or future members of the UNSC, or have their economic, defense, and cultural relations with India. For example, Guyana has a significant presence of the Indian community, and is also a temporary member of UNSC. In this way, India selected these 33 countries because these countries are impressive on global and regional forums, are members of UNSC, or strategic partners of India.
