Adnan sami in aap ki adalat: Singer and composer Adnan Sami, who made a place in the hearts of fans from all over the world with his songs, said on Saturday how his Pakistani passport was not renewed and the Establishment there wanted to take him in his noose. In India TV’s special show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, he said that he had not received any response till several days after sending a request for Pakistan’s passport. Sami openly answered the questions of Rajat Sharma, chairman and editor-in-chief of India TV throughout the show.
Why did not the answer come to Sami about passport renewal?
Adnan Sami said, ‘My Indian visa was to be renewed and before that my Pakistani passport was to be renewed. I sent a request to renew the passport but no response came. When I talked about this in Pakistan, it came to know that this (Pakistan’s Establishment) was not going to renew my passport. Some people from Pakistan told that they want me not to get a visa and I have to go back to Pakistan. Sami said that his well -wishers in Pakistan said that they do not know what would happen to him after returning to Pakistan, and it was a very frightening thing.
‘An artist is craving for audiences’
When Sami was asked that many people say that he took citizenship of India to earn more money, he said in response, ‘I belong to a very previously prevailing family. By the grace of the above, I was born in a family where everything was. I have never had a greed for money. I left crores of property in Pakistan. After coming to India, I had to start everything again. An artist is craving for audiences. The dose of an artist is audience. I also got a lot of love in Pakistan, but everyone wants an expansion. Sami said that the popularity of artists in India increases by several times.
Why Adnan Sami became emotional during the interview?
Sami also explained in the ‘AAP court’ how the Pakistan government harassed him on different occasions. He became very emotional during the interview and told that after his mother’s death, he wanted to go to Pakistan to join his funeral, but he was not given a visa. Sami also replied to the question in the show as to why he chose to become an Indian despite being the son of an officer of Pakistan’s Air Force. He told many such things throughout the show which were rarely heard before.
