Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday interacted with Steve Vitkoff, a special messenger of US President Donald Trump in Moscow. The meeting took place by the White House a few days before the last date for Russia’s peace compromise with Ukraine. Earlier, Trump had threatened Russia to face strict economic restrictions for not making a peace agreement with Ukraine in a week. When this happens, the country can be affected the most who are buying Russian oil.

What did Kremlin say?

Kremlin did not provide any more details about this meeting immediately. The first Vitchoff took a walk in the early in the morning at the Zarayade Park, which is a few steps away from the Kremlin and there he spent time with the Russian President’s investment and economic support envoy Kiril Dimitriyav. In recent months, Dimitriyav has played an important role in three round negotiations between Russia and Ukraine delegations in Istanbul, as well as negotiations between Russia and USA officials. There was no progress in ending the war that has been going on for three years in these talks. Trump’s last time for Putin ends on Friday.

America will impose Russia on Russia

Washington has warned that if the murder in Ukraine is not stopped, Russia will be imposed “hard fees” and other economic restrictions. Trump has expressed disappointment over the increasing attacks on Russia’s civilian areas on Putin, which are being done with the aim of weakening morale and mass support towards war. These attacks continue even when Trump has urged the Russian leader to soften in the last months.

Russia attacked Japorijia

During Tuesday to Wednesday night, Russian soldiers attacked a recreation center in the southern Zaporizia region of Ukraine, killing two people and injured 12 people. Regional Governor Ivan Fedorov said on Wednesday that two children are also among those who died.

Jailonski said-Russia is doing crisis

Ukrainian President Vladimir Jailonski said on Telegram, “There is no military argument in this attack. It is only a cruelty to intimidate. Let us know that Russia also attacked Ukrainian power grid and heating gas facilities. Jailnsky said, Ukraine is preparing winter. So it was attacked on his power grid.

Why did Putin intensify Ukraine?

Western analysts and Ukrainian officials say that Putin is trying to buy time and avoid serious dialogue, while Russian forces are moving to occupy more Ukrainian land. The pace of Russian invasion, which started from this year’s spring, is faster than last year, but is slow and expensive progress and no major cities have been captured. According to analysts, the frontline position for Ukrainian forces is critical, but their defense wall is not collapsing.

Trump gave this statement

Before sending Witchoff to Russia on Tuesday, when Trump was asked if he would impose tariffs on countries that buy Russian oil, which could increase the import tax on China and India significantly, he said, “We will meet tomorrow with Russia. Will see what happens. Then we will decide.” The President said that he has not yet publicly committed to a certain tariff rate. Increasing diplomatic and economic pressure on the Kremlin is at risk of increasing international tension amidst the deterioration of Russia-US relations. (AP)
