Earlier, Iran was a Parsi country but it became a Muslim country during the period of Khalifa. The border of Iran has been decreasing in every period. Today’s Iran is very different from Iran of ancient times. Iran of ancient times was first demolished by Alexander and then later the people of Turks and Arabs destroyed. When the Arab Khalifa expanded their religion, Iran was also conquered after conquering many surrounding countries. Iran is now currently a Shia Muslim country.

A few years ago, Saudi Arabia’s biggest religious leader Mufti Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh had announced that Iranians are not Muslims. Abdul-Aziz is the Chief of the Islamic Organization established by Saudi King. He said that the Iranian people have been a follower of ‘Zoroastrinism’ i.e. Parsi religion. He had said, ‘We should understand that Iranians are not Muslims because they are children of the Parsi (Parsi). They have been old enmity with Muslims and especially numbers. People of Arabia do not consider Muslims of other countries as Muslims.

After the Iranian revolution of 1979 under the leadership of Ayatollah Khomeini, this country became a staunch Muslim country and forced people to live life according to Islamic law. With this, the Arab world started deteriorating with Iran. Earlier, Iran was an open -minded country where there was no religious restriction of any kind. He had deep relations with West and America. But after the Islamic revolution, everything turned. For the last few years, the cycle of time has gone upside down and now people want freedom again. When they are not getting this freedom, they are forced to leave Islam.

According to a survey report by DW, he interviewed 40 thousand people. On the basis of which it was estimated that a large number of people in Iran are leaving Islam. Its number is not being considered less than 47 percent. Iranian President Ibrahim RaiC’s senior Maulvi Mohammad Abolgasem Dolabi revealed such things that in 2023 last year, more than 50 thousand mosques were closed in Iran itself. Many reasons were given to its closure. One reason to shut down mosques is that today mosques have become the basis of some groups and politics.

This reason also stated that people are upset with the government’s efforts to enforce the hijab law. 78% of people in the age group of 20–29 are against compulsory hijab, and 26% people pray five times a day. This shows that the younger generation is against religious sanctions and is moving towards freedom. One reason is also believed that understanding has increased in people and they do not believe in Islamic books.

Recently, in 2024, Masood Page Seshakian, a candidate for Liberal thinking, won the presidential election by defeating Saeed Jalili of fundamentalist thinking by nearly 40 lakh votes. He made only two promises to the public. The first is that they will again make good relations with the countries of the West and second that they will give a free environment to the country.
