Adani group Has dismissed the news of China’s alliance with BYD. Adani Group said on Monday that it was not exploring an alliance with Chinese companies such as BYD for battery manufacturing and clean energy technology. Adi Group’s leading company Adani Enterprises Limited said in the information that the news of the alliance with Chinese companies BYD and Beijing Vilian New Energy Technology is wrong. It said that Adani Group is not looking for any kind of cooperation with BYD for battery manufacturing in India. Similarly, we are not discussing any kind of partnership with Beijing Velion New Energy Technology.

Chairman Gautam Adani also came to name

Some reports claimed that the group chairman Gautam Adani is ‘leading the discussion’ with BYD officials to make batteries in India and pursue his efforts in the field of clean energy. The group has a huge segment of clean energy from solar module construction to wind energy equipment and green hydrogen. It is increasing its solar module construction by 10 GWing per year and wants to almost double its wind turbine manufacturing capacity to five gigawatts per year. The group is also considering setting up a feature for manufacturing ‘electrolyzers’ used in creating green hydrogen.

Claimed in a report

A report claimed that Adani group is exploring the possibilities of partnership with China’s electric vehicle giant BYD to promote battery manufacturing in India and strengthen the group’s renewable energy. The report said that Gautam Adani, the chairman of Adani Group, is leading a conversation with BYD officials himself. However, this conversation is in the initial stage and it is not decided to move forward. According to the report, if there is an agreement, it will not be done with the headquarters of BYD, but with its affiliate companies located in the Asia region, so that sensitivity can be taken in view of the political tension between India and China.

According to sources, Chinese companies have the most advanced and affordable rechargeable battery technology, and the Adani Group considers this technical partnership necessary for its renewable energy target. The report also states that not only Adani, but not only byd, but Beijing Welion New Energy Technology Co. Like other Chinese companies are also looking for partnership options, although getting approval from the government can be a big challenge. European and South Korean companies are willing to provide technology, but Chinese companies do not compete with price and quality balance.
