It said that Adani Group is not looking for any kind of cooperation with BYD for battery manufacturing in India. Some reports claimed that the group chairman Gautam Adani is ‘leading the discussion’ with BYD officials to make batteries in India and pursue his efforts in the field of clean energy. The group has a huge segment of clean energy from solar module construction to wind energy equipment and green hydrogen. It is increasing its solar module construction by 10 GWing per year and wants to almost double its wind turbine manufacturing capacity to five gigawatts per year. The group is also considering setting up a feature for manufacturing ‘electrolyzers’ used in creating green hydrogen.
