76 big deals of land
In the first (January-June) half of 2025, more than 2,898 acres of land was transacted in 76 deals across India. The total market price of this land is Rs 30,885 crore. The total revenue capacity of these plots is around Rs 1.47 lakh crore and the total development capacity is more than 23.3 crore sq ft. Most of these land deals were for the development of housing, commercial and mixed use projects. The consultant said that out of a total of 76 land deals in the first half of this year, there were 17 Joint Development Agreements (JDA), which were spread over 782 acres. Their market price is Rs 6,765 crore. Eneroc also highlighted that the total deals of the land in the first half of 2025 are 1.15 times more than the deals compared to 2024. In 2024, there were about 133 deals for 2,515 acres of land.
Sobha’s sales booking increased by 11 percent
Real estate company Sobha Limited recorded a sales booking of Rs 2,078.8 crore with an 11 percent increase in the first quarter of the current financial year 2025-26. The company achieved a sales booking of Rs 1,873.7 crore in the first (April-June) quarter of FY 2024-25. Sobha Limited said in a information to the stock market on Monday that it sold 14.44 lakh square feet of area during the April-June period while it sold 11.75 lakh square feet of area last year.
