The much-anticipated trailer and melodious music of the laugh-riot Punjabi comedy film “Miya Biwi Raazi Ki Karange Paaji” starring actor-singer Yuvraaj Hans, (son of the iconic singer Hans Raj Hans), glam-actress Shehnaz Sehar, Sneh Mehta. and Dr. Anil K. Mehta, was launched in Mumbai.

This comedy-packed film is set for a nationwide release across theaters in Punjab and also North and West regions on Friday, November 29, 2024. The trailer and songs of the film have been widely appreciated. The trailer and music launch event at the IMPPA Premises was graced by producer Dr. Anil K. Mehta, actress Shehnaz Sehar, writer Harry Fernandes, and (Kapil Sharma TV Show fame) actor Dinesh Kumar.

Photogenic actress Shehnaz Sehar (whose secret dream is to share screen-space with all the Bollywood Stars Khans–Aamir, Salman, and Shah Rukh) looked attractive in a Punjabi ethnic suit. She shared, “The film story of ‘Miya Biwi Raazi…’ is so captivating with twists and turns allowing my lead-role-character ‘Simran’-full scope for drama, romance, comedy and even action-scenes. , The songs in this film are lovely, and my screen-chemistry with Yuvraaj Hans is amazing. There’s a catchy song ‘Chacha Ji and Bua Ji’ that is my personal favourite, though I also love the lively title song. What also equally mattered to me is that I was treated all the time with courteous dignity by both director Harry-Sir producer co-star Anil -Sir and all my co-stars,.” shares Shehnaz who has a fleeting resemblance to several Bollywood star-heroines.

The film’s producer and co-actor, Dr. Anil Mehta, shared, “This is a situational comedy that will resonate well with the Punjabi audience who love watching and enjoying such films. The movie offers the colours, songs, and spirit of Punjab. In today’s stressful times, this film will bring laughter to everyone.”
The film’s writer and co-director Harry Fernandes, is equally excited about the subject and treatment of the story He expressed, “The response to the trailer and music has boosted our confidence that this film will capture the hearts of audiences.”

In the film, Yuvraaj Hans plays the character Yuvraaj, and Shehnaz Sehar plays Simran. Dr. Anil Mehta, the producer, takes on the entertaining role of Simran’s uncle, Jaydeep Nagrath (Paaji). The storyline follows Yuvraaj, who comes to Mumbai for his studies and falls in love with Simran. However, Simran’s uncle, Jaydeep Paaji, disapproves of Yuvraaj as he wants to marry Simran off to his business partner Ajit Singh’s son, Sunny. Will Yuvraaj and Simran’s love story succeed —is what is revealed in the climax.? ,

Director duo Harry-Mehta shared that along with comedy, action, and drama, the film’s music is also set to make the audiences fall-in-love with the story and characters.The songs have been penned by Kala Nijampuri, with music by Jus. Keys Ji, adding a unique melodious charm to the movie.
