The recent decision of the Supreme Court to remove stray dogs from the roads in Delhi-NCR has created a ruckus. The issue reached the Supreme Court on August 13, amidst an uproar over the Supreme Court order to send stray dogs to shelter homes. A lawyer has filed a petition regarding the order of the court, on which India’s Chief Justice (CJI) BR Gawai said that he will look into the matter.

Let us know that the recent decision of the Supreme Court is being discussed a lot. It has one side of Dogs Lovers, who are expressing concern over this decision. Dogs Lovers says that this decision will not solve the problem permanent. At the same time, the other side is of the faction of the society, which is welcoming this decision.

Dog lovers will get relief?

According to the report of the Bar and Bench, a lawyer put the issue in front of CJI BR Gavai and mentioned an old order from the Supreme Court, stating that there should be compassion for all living beings. Referring to the old court order, he said, “This is a case of community dogs. There is an old order of the Supreme Court, which said that under no circumstances cannot the dogs be indiscriminately assassinated. Justice Karol was also included in the decision -giving bench. It was said in the judgment that there should be compassion for all living beings. ”

After hearing the arguments of the lawyer, the CJI replied, “But the bench has already heard its decision. I will consider it.”

Supreme Court order- Shelter home should be sent to everyone in 8 weeks

Let us know that in view of the increasing attacks of stray dogs in Delhi-NCR and deaths due to rabies, the Supreme Court has issued an important order on 11 August. The apex court has ordered all stray dogs to be kept in shelter in 8 weeks from Delhi-NCR. The court has said that all stray dogs of Delhi-NCR should be picked up from residential areas and kept in shelter homes. The court has also warned that whatever organization or person obstructs this work, the strict action will be taken against him.
