Trains The use of 20 percent ethanol-mixed petrol (E20) may lead to a slight decline of 2-4 percent in fuel efficiency, but the total profit from the E20 to the country is much higher than the additional expenditure incurred by customers on petrol. Vehicle and Petroleum Industry officials and Testing Agency Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) said this on Saturday. The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) said that insurance and warranty concerns about the use of E20 fuel are wrong. He assured that the automobile companies would respect the warranty unconditionally.

He said, “All this is a campaign to spread a wrong information.” Citing the results of different Tests, Banerjee said, “In all the vehicles we tested, the range of 2 to 4 percent (of mileage) was found to be 2 to 4 percent.”

When asked about issues related to warranty and insurance using E20 fuel in non-E20 vehicles, Banerjee said, “E20 is wrong to spread any claim about fuel-related insurance and warranty. The vehicle manufacturer (will honor the warranty without any but-but-but-but will honor the warranty.”

Will there be any bad effect on the car

ARAI Director Rezi Mathai, citing two studies conducted in 2016 and 2021, said that “In the investigation, we found that the vehicles did not have any bad effect. She was working properly with E20 fuel.” Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry Advisor P.S. How to benefit the country’s economy

It saves foreign currency, which directly affects India’s current account deficit and the entire economy. Gulati said, “The money (for import of crude oil) abroad is now going to the farmers, which will improve their economic condition. They will be able to spend more and contribute to the economy.”
