Rain alert in these districts of UP
There is rain alert in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Light to moderate rains are likely in Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi. Heavy rains have been estimated in Meerut, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar in western UP.

Several districts of Bihar are expected to rain for the next three days (30 August to 1 September). There is a possibility of rain in Darbhanga, East Champaran, West Champaran, Kishanganj, Araria, Supaul, Saharsa, Madhepura, Purnia, Katihar, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Samastipur, and Khagaria. Along with this, light rain has been predicted in Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Nawada, Bhojpur, Buxar, Aurangabad, Rohtas, and Bhabhua.

Many districts of Maharashtra have rain alert. It also includes the capital Mumbai. According to the local Meteorological Department, rain has been forecast for the next one or two days in Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Pune, Kolhapur. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials said that the IMD has projected the sky and suburbs on Saturday to keep the sky cloudy with rain. The weather will be cloudy in Mumbai from Saturday to Monday. There is also a possibility of rain during this period.
