On seeing this news, it became quite viral, which increased tension for crores of two-wheelers in the country. It was claimed in the news that from July 15, toll tax will also be charged from two-wheelers at the toll plaza of NHAI i.e. National Highway. However, Union Road and Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari himself has told the truth of this news run by media institutions. Nitin Gadkari has tweeted a tweet on this on Thursday.
What Nitin Gadkari said on the toll from two-wheelers
Nitin Gadkari has declared the news to be charged toll tax from two-wheelers on his social media account as misleading. He said that no such decision is proposed and the toll of two-wheelers will continue to be completely exempted. Gadkari wrote in the tweet, “Some media institutions are spreading misleading news of toll tax on two-wheelers. No such decisions are proposed. The toll of two-wheelers will continue to be completely exempted. Creating sensation by spreading misleading news without knowing the truth is not a symptom of healthy journalism. I condemn it. ”
Emergency, defense and VIP vehicles also get exemption
