According to preliminary information in the media report, there was a debate between Radhika and her father about a social media post. It is being told that Radhika shared a video reel on social media, which made her father angered. The debate increased so much that the father fired three bullets on Radhika with his license revolver.
The family rushed Radhika to a nearby private hospital in critical condition, but he succumbed during treatment. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident from the hospital. SHO Rajendra Kumar of Sector 56 police station said, “We had received information from the hospital that a young woman injured by the bullet was admitted. By the time we arrived, she had died. In the investigation, it was clear that the bullet was fired by her father.”
Gurugram Police spokesman Sandeep Kumar also confirmed that the cause of the incident was a dispute over the social media post. He said that the license revolver used in the murder has been recovered and the accused father has been taken into custody.
