Earlier today, Japan won the bronze medal by defeating Malaysia 4-1. Japan played aggressively and scored 4 goals in the first half itself. Mayuri Horikawa scored in the 3rd minute, Hiroka Murayama in the 24th minute, Ayana Tamura in the 28th minute and Miyu Hasegawa scored the fourth goal before half time. Ajmara Azhari made his presence felt for Malaysia by scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Both the teams will now face each other in the upcoming Asian Games.
