One of India’s most prestigious filmmakers, Mahesh Bhatt is happy that people are looking at his blockbuster romantic film Aashiqui in Mohit Suri’s Saira. Mahesh Bhatt’s Aashiqui made Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal an overnight superstar.
‘Acquisition’ created panic across the country by presenting a new, depth and time ahead of time. Aashiqui’s music was also a tremendous hit. Similarly, Syara is a launch pad for Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda which is coming out as the next hero and heroine of YRF. Saira’s songs have also become chartbusters and its title track is a big hit!
Mahesh said, every generation has a love story that defines him. Saira, in my view, will be the most important romantic film of this generation. When I made a lover, I made it with great purity and fortunately people joined it deeply and made two new faces a star overnight. I hope that Mohit Suri will do the same with Saira.
He further says, it is amazing to see that people are feeling the memories of Aashiqui while watching Saira, but I can say that Saira will change the definition of love stories of this era. Every new generation should move forward from the previous, and I am happy that Saira can do the same. Mohit is my disciple and if he goes ahead of me in every sense, then what else will be a matter of great happiness for me.
Mahesh Bhatt believes that Mohit Suri, whom he gave as a director, has stood completely on his own with Saira. He says, I feel proud that Mohit dared Saira to get out of his old groove. This is completely different from his career so far and this film has a tremendous depth of romance, which is inside Mohit. I am glad that he has put it in front of the world. In order to connect with the spirit of love, intensity is necessary and I am very excited about Saira.
This veteran filmmaker has always inspired Mohit to make a film with new faces and he is happy that Mohit shared a partnership with YRRF for Saira. He says, I am thrilled that Mohit has taken the risk of making Saira with two talented artists, who are seen shining on the screen. I am also happy to see that a studio like YRF is with him and behind them, whose cinematic heritage is very rich.
He further says, Saira is coming with a new freshness, such as a fresh air gust which is possible only with new faces. Saira’s energy feels clear and I have great expectations from this film. I am eagerly waiting for the country to see it in theaters on 18 July.

Yash Raj Films and Mohit Suri have come together for the first time in this much awaited romantic film Saira. Syara has also given the best music album of this year.
