Work done in blood -filled demand with Rekha
Mangal Dhillon started his career with TV and made a mark in door-to-door through Ramesh Sippy’s serial ‘Buniyaad’, who made ‘Sholay’. After his successful career in TV, Mangal Dhillon tried his luck in films and appeared in ‘Khoon Bhari Mang’ directed by Rakesh Roshan. Rekha and Kabir Bedi starrer he was successful in making his presence in the film and also caught everyone’s attention with his screen presence. After this he appeared in Divya Bharti, Sunny Deol and Naseeruddin Shah starrer ‘Vishwatma’.

Mangal Dhillon also worked in films like ‘Ghayal Katha’, ‘Dil Tera Aashiq’, ‘Sadhana’, ‘Hitler’, ‘Corruption’, ‘Amba’, ‘Zindagi Ek Jua’, and ‘Sahiban’ along with Mangal Dhillon. He also wrote the script of Anil Kapoor and Sridevi’s film Heer Ranjha. However, the film missed out on earning. Seeing some such failures, Mars Dhills started feeling zero and they decided to leave everything.
Leaving the world of glamor and caught the path of spirituality
He directed a documentary named Khalsa on the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh in 1999 and only after this project he decided to leave the world of glamor and caught the path of spirituality. He devoted himself to the service of God and people. Mangal was last seen in the role of Akbar in the serial Nur Jahan. In his last days, he was hit by cancer and during this time he was busy in social service. Finally, in 2023, he lost his life while fighting the cancer.
