Beijing, November 7 (IANS). Chinese President Xi Jinping inspects Chinese paratroops. He stressed that paratroops have a special role in the power and combat systems of the Chinese military. We should try to create powerful and modern paratroops by strengthening military exercises and preparations on an all-round basis and implementing the idea of army empowerment in the new era.
Xi Jinping went to the paratroop headquarters, met with officials and representatives of the troops, and posed for a group photo. He then inspected the equipment and visited the Paratroops’ History Building.
After listening to the paratroops’ work report, Xi stressed that we should strengthen military preparedness and fighting consciousness and thoroughly carry out preparations for military conflict. We must master the characteristics and law of the use of paratroops in modern warfare and make good use of the unique advantages of paratroops. Along with this, joint command, action and guarantee capabilities with other troops should be improved.
