YRKKH written update: The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai, scheduled to air on October 20, 2024, begins with Armaan confiding in Kaveri and explaining that Abhira has been hiding something from him. In response, Kaveri simply asks Armaa if he loves Abhira. Confused at the questions, Armaan replies that yes, he cannot live without her. So, Kaveri urges Armaan to understand that he needs to trust Abhira as she would not lie to him without a valid reason. Armaan feels betrayed at Kaveri’s support for Abhira. But, Kaveri explains that she deeply relates to Abhira’s situation, therefore, she supports her. Armaan nods and further apologises for Vidya’s behaviour towards Kaveri. This changes Kaveri’s mood as she admits that Vidya’s foolish actions will stop soon enough.
On the other hand, Abhira worries that her lie has been hurting Armaan more than she anticipated. Refusing to let the situation worsen, she decides to reveal her pregnancy to Armaan. Meanwhile, Armaan believes that Abhira should not lie to him, otherwise, their relationship will be gravely affected, just like it was before.

Elsewhere, Sanjay informs Charu that Neeraj liked her. Charu blushes and agrees to get married into Neeraj’s family. Delighted at yet another wedding celebration on the cards, Manisha and Manoj present Charu with an expensive gift. When Charu realises how expensive the gift is, she refuses to accept it. But, Manoj assures her now that he has begun earning, he can afford such gifts. Sanjay hears this and taunts Manoj’s decision to join their rival law firm and asks Charu to not accept the present. Vidya witnesses the arguments and laughs that the entire family is back at each other’s throats as soon as Neeraj’s family left.
Kaveri chimes in that Vidya is the sole reason for such fights. With this, Kaveri orders Manisha to begin Karwa Chauth’s preparations. Meanwhile, Abhira worries that making a happy announcement about her pregnancy will not sit well with the Poddars. She decides to keep it low-key and inform Armaan during Karwa Chauth. On the other hand, Rohit request Ruhi to not fast due to her pregnancy. But, despite his attempts, she remains adamant about completing the Karwa Chauth rituals.
While Kiara and Aryan are upset at Charu’s decision to reject Manoj’s gift, Charu tries to defend herself. Kajal approaches Kaveri to inform her that Vidya did not buy Abhira any gifts for Karwa Chauth. Later, Kaveri gifts Manisha and Vidya with their respective gifts. She then walks over to Abhira and hands Abhira her gift.
