If you are also looking for a residential plot in or adjacent to Noida International Airport, then be cautious. Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority i.e. Yida has started investigating illegal housing projects in the Tapad area in its fixed limitations, and especially in the upcoming Noida International Airport. According to the news of Hindustan Times, this step has been taken in the case of several illegal colonies that are being developed by illegal land dealers, who are seduced people to buy plots without valid approval.

Plots being sold by pretending to be more profitable

According to the news, the authority officials say that these fake plots are being sold to the buyers of nearby cities on the pretext. These illegal constructions are being done on such lands which are already reserved for industrial and urban development. This may have a serious impact on the future development plans of the region. The CEO of the authority said that we have directed inspection for effective action. If our teams find out of an illegal construction, they have been asked to immediately demolish them and make them encroachment free.

Yida was established in 2001

The Yamuna Expressway was established in 2001 to encourage the development between Greater Noida and Agra. Its notified area is spread about 2.5 lakh hectares, including six districts of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Hathras, Mathura and Agra. However, so far this authority has been able to acquire only about 20,000 hectares of land, which is mainly located on the side of the expressway in Gautam Buddha Nagar, where big projects like Noida International Airport and Film City are being made.

Authority will issue public notice

Experts say that many fake agents are selling small plots of about 100 square yards in areas like Tapad, Jewar and Gorauli for Rs 20 lakh or more. They claim that the price of these plots will double in a year or two. But these plots are often on agricultural land, which is notified for development, and buyers remain empty -handed when Yida acquires land. The authority will soon issue a public notice to protect this trap and to save people from getting stuck, warning buyers not to invest in such without approved housing schemes.
