Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority i.e. Yeida stated clearly to the developers that the construction of the upcoming Film City Project should be started, unless the layout of the film studio and film institute’s building is approved by the company. The Authority has refused to start the construction or foundation stone ceremony on plots in Sector 21 adjacent to Yamuna Express.

Instructions to strictly follow the conditions

According to the Hindustan Times news, the authority has directed the Bevyuu Bhutani Film City Private Limited, which is a federation led by the filmmaker Boney Kapoor and Bhutani Group, to strictly follow the terms of the concession agreement. Yeida said that the construction film city project should begin with two main components including Film Studio and Film Training Academy. According to the conditions, the developer has to complete these two things within the first three years.

Then a fine of 1.5 lakh will be imposed per day

According to the news, the CEO of the authority said that the concession agreement was signed on 27 June last year. It was ordered to start construction within a year. If they do not start construction on time, then a fine of 1.5 lakhs will be imposed per day until the work starts. Through the letter, we have instructed the developer to follow the conditions before joining the construction on the site.

In January, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority ie approved the land use map of the first phase of 230 acres of 1,000 acres of Film City Project in Sector 21. The project is divided into two parts- industrial and commercial zones. The 230 acres are for 155 acres for industrial use and the remaining 75 acres for commercial use.
